Day 1: Arrive in Beijing

Arrive in Beijing, be met and transferred to your hotel by private transfer.

 

Day 2: Beijing (B, L)

Visit Tian An Men Square, the largest square in the world; Forbidden City, the imperial palace of Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty from 1420 to 1911; Temple of Heaven, where emperors made sacrifices to ensure a good harvest.

 

Day 3: Beijing (B, L)

Visit Great Wall, a 1500-miles-long fortification across North China constructed over 2000 years ago; Ming Tombs, the cemetery for emperors of Ming Dynasty (1368-1644); on the way, have a stop for taking pictures of the 2008 Beijing Olympic sites (Bird’s Nest & Water Cube) from the outside.

 

Day 4: Beijing (B, L)

Visit Summer Palace, the summer retreat for emperors and their family; have a close touch to Beijing local life by Hutong tour by rickshaw. 

 

Day 5: Beijing – Dunhuang (B, L)

Be transferred to the airport for your flight to Dunhuang. Arrive in Dunhuang, visit Mogao Grottoes, one of the Four Great Grottoes of China, as well as a treasure house of Buddhism with the largest scale and richest content in the world; night market in the town.

 

Day 6: Dunhuang – Xian (B, L)

Get across Whispering Sand Dunes by riding the camel to visit Crescent Lake, a crescent-shaped water that has been existing as a scenic spot for over 2000 years according to record. Be transferred to the airport for your flight to Xian.

 

Day 7: Xian (B, L)

Visit Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses, which were buried over 2000 years ago with the purpose of guarding the mausoleum of Qinshihuang (the first emperor in Chinese history) and is widely known as one of the Eight Wonders of the World today; Ancient City Wall, the largest-scaled and best-preserved ancient city wall in China; Chinese Herbal Medicine Market. 

 

Day 8: Xian – Guilin (B, L)

Be transferred to the airport for your flight to Guilin. Arrive in Guilin, visit Reed Flute Cave, the best-known karst cave in Guilin, featuring peculiar stalactites adorned by colorful lighting has been receipting many domestic and overseas celebrities; Fubo Hill, a karst hill standing by Li River and provides a platform on its top to get a bird view of Guilin; local food market to experience local life.

 

Day 9: Guilin – Yangshuo – Macau (B, L)

Cruise Li River (about 4 hours), which is known to the world for its clean water and picturesque scenery on both banks. Arrive in Yangshuo, walk along West Street and visit local village & farmers’ house. Transfer to Yangshuo HS train station for train to Zhuhai which is the entry city to Macau.

 

Day 10: Macau (B, L)

Half-day tour to Ruins of St. Paul, the best-renowned historic site of Macau; Leal Senado Square, featuring a fountain and being a place for large activities in the past; Holy House of Mercy, created by D. Belchior Carneiro Leit&atilde (the first bishop of Macau) in 1569 in charge of charity and relief; Leal Senado Building, the location of Macao Government during the 19th – 20th century when Portugal colonized Macau.

Day 11: Macau – Hong Kong (B, L)

Leave for Hong Kong by boat. Arrive in Hong Kong, a half-day tour to Victoria Peak, the highest hill of Hong Kong Island, as well as a perfect platform for having the bird view of Victoria Bay and the city; Aberdeen Village, a famous fishing village of Hong Kong, featuring local fishing culture and seafood.

 

Day 12: Depart from Hong Kong (B)

Be transferred to the airport for your departure flight. Service ends.
