Day 1: Arrive in Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, be met and transferred to your hotel by private transfer.
Day 2: Beijing (B, L)
Visit Tian An Men Square, the largest square in the world; Forbidden City, the imperial palace of Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty from 1420 to 1911; Temple of Heaven, where emperors made sacrifices to ensure a good harvest.
Day 3: Beijing (B, L)
Visit Great Wall, a 1500-miles-long fortification across North China constructed over 2000 years ago; Ming Tombs, the cemetery for emperors of Ming Dynasty (1368-1644); on the way, have a stop for taking pictures of the 2008 Beijing Olympic sites (Bird’s Nest & Water Cube) from the outside.
Day 4: Beijing – Xian (B, L)
Visit Summer Palace, the summer retreat for emperors and their family; have a close touch to Beijing local life by Hutong tour by walking. Depart to Xian by air or by high-speed train.
Day 5: Xian (B, L)
Visit Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses, which were buried over 2000 years ago with the purpose of guarding the mausoleum of Qinshihuang (the first emperor in Chinese history) and is widely known as one of the Eight Wonders of the World today; Ancient City Wall, the largest-scaled and best-preserved ancient city wall in China.
Day 6: Xian – Lhasa (B)
Be transferred to the airport for your flight to Lhasa. Arrive in Lhasa, have a good rest to acclimatize yourself to the high altitude.
Day 7: Lhasa (B, L)
Visit Potala Palace, which was originally constructed in the first half of the 7th century for the marriage of the ruler Srongtsen Gampo and Princess Wencheng of Tang Dynasty and rebuilt in the 17th century as the winter palace for Dalai Lama; the over 1300 years old Jokhang Monastery, which enjoys a supreme status in Tibetan Buddhism; and Barkhor Bazaar, where there are pilgrims circling clockwise around Jokhang Monastery and many Tibetan souvenir shops.
Day 8: Lhasa (B, L)
Visit Norbulinka, a summer palace built in about 1740s for Dalai Lama to avoid heat and deal with affairs; Sera Monastery, one of “the three great monasteries of Lhasa”, where you have a chance to see monks’ debating about Buddha dharma.
Day 9: Lhasa (B, L)
Full-day trip to visit the most-famous holly lake of Tibet - Namtso Lake, which is about 220 kilometers apart from Lhasa.

Day 10: Lhasa – Chengdu – Shanghai (B, L)
Be transferred to the airport for your flight to Chengdu. Arrive in Chengdu, visit Breeding and Research Base of Giant Panda, which is renowned home and abroad. Be transferred to the airport for your evening flight to Shanghai.
Day 11: Shanghai (B, L)
Visit the Bund, which locates on the bank of Huangpu River and was once British Concession from 1844 to 1943; Yu Garden, which is known as a Chinese classic garden built during the second half of the 16th century and the Old Shanghai outside the garden; Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the landmark and a good place to have a bird's-eye view of the city; and Shanghai City Museum, where you will learn about the history and development of Shanghai.

Day 12: Depart from Shanghai (B)
Be transferred to the airport for your departure flight. Service ends.
